Outstanding Business Partner Award
MTC Foundation Chair John Ziemnicki accepts an Outstanding Business Partner Award from MTC Director Dr. Valerie Viands during the October 17 MTC Advisory Board dinner. The Foundation was lauded for its fund-raising efforts which provides tuition, books, uniforms and lab fees to many deserving students as well as equipment and supplies to MTC programs. Since 2012 MTC Foundation has awarded scholarships to 185 students and program grants totaling $315,659.44. MTC is a separate, stand-alone nonprofit organization.

Brozowski Family Trust, Beverly Beall & R. Kemp Reichman Foundation, John & Marianne Moyer Create New Donor-Directed Funds
Bradenton, FL: The Brozowski Family Trust, The Beverly Beall & R. Kemp Reichman Foundation and John & Marianne Moyer have partnered with the Manatee Technical College Foundation to create donor-directed funds to benefit Manatee Technical College students.
The Brozowski Framily Trust will help support students who are first in their family to attend college, first generation students who are single parents as well as to augment allowable allotments to DACCA and immigrant families.
The Beverly Beall & R.Kemp Reichman Foundation will assist eligible students enrolled in the building trades, business training and medical professions programs.
John and Marianne Moyer’s grant will assist eligible MTC students as well as supporting the Annual TSA Elementary Competition.
The generosity of these donors will help sustain the on-going work of MTC Foundation which regularly provides financial assistance for tuition, books, uniforms and other expenses for deserving students as well as defraying expenses for Manatee Technical College programs.
They join the Longboat Key Firefighters, Weldon Frost & Mobil/Exxon, Pepsico/Tropicana, Air Products, the Baden Foundation, Crosthwaite Fishing Tournament and Manatee Technical College Alumni Association in investing in the future of Manatee County through their partnerships with Manatee Technical College Foundation. Through the generosity of the these organizations and individuals, MTC Foundation has been able to award more than $100,000 in financial assistance to MTC students and some $50,000 for MTC program support.
